Emily Kalinowski, LCSW
Founder & Counselor

Emily completed her bachelor's degree and master's degree in social work through Taylor University and the University of Illinois with an emphasis in children and family services. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Tennessee and Illinois.

Emily has advanced training in trauma treatment including EMDR and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Additional post-graduate training includes animal assisted psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, art in therapy, mindfulness practices, assessment and treatment of depression, diagnosing and treating adults with ADHD, understanding adult children of alcoholics, addicts and dysfunctional families, and the relational treatment of trauma.

With experience working in both community mental health and private practice, Emily is especially passionate about working with women to overcome anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Madison Kuykendall, LCSW
Counselor

Madison a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Tennessee. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Memphis and her Master’s in Social Work at Union University.

Madison has extensive experience working with children and families in difficult circumstances. She also has experience providing crisis counseling in schools, and working with patients in assisted living facilities.

Madison is experienced in several trauma-informed treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness techniques. Madison is also trained as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator and able to use this tool to support couples in pre-marital or relationship counseling. Madison is especially passionate about working with individuals and families to reach their unique goals and find peace within themselves.

Caroline Mrowiec, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist

Caroline received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University and completed a fellowship at Memorial Hermann to specialize in neurological conditions. Caroline's work experience extends across the continuum of care for both adults and pediatrics in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, and home health care.

Caroline has a special interest in medical missions and spent three years volunteering with a nonprofit organization in Vietnam to start a therapy center for children with special needs and has published a book on her experiences there. Caroline also has a passion for therapeutic photography. She has run programs with children and developed a new program for adults which was awarded runner-up in the 2022 Mobilizing Medical Missions conference.

Caroline loves making her therapy practice as holistic and family-centered as possible and looks forward to supporting each client's individual goals while having fun along the way.

Nancy Young, LMSW
Counselor

Nancy is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Tennessee and is currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She is passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and reconnect with their strengths. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Memphis and her Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee. She also holds a certification in Veterinary Social Work, giving her specialized training in supporting veterinarians and professionals who work closely with animals.

Nancy has experience working with anger, anxiety, trauma, and emotional regulation. She enjoys integrating collaborative problem solving and animal assisted therapy into her work.

Outside of the therapy room, Nancy lives on a small farm in West Tennessee where she enjoys caring for her five dogs, chickens, goats, and cows. Her love for animals deeply informs her therapeutic approach and her belief in the healing connection between people and animals.

Hope Haynes, LMSW
Counselor

Hope earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Union University. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Tennessee and is currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Hope is certified as an Enneagram-Informed Mental Health Professional and enjoys incorporating the Enneagram personality framework into her work to help individuals identify their strengths, areas for growth, and core motivations. She has extensive experience supporting individuals facing substance use challenges and has also provided in-home therapy services for children and families. Additionally, Hope has worked closely with children and adolescents who have disclosed experiences of abuse, providing emotional support, advocacy, and guidance.

Hope is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to process challenges, build on their strengths, and work toward meaningful growth and lasting change.
