Emily Kalinowski, LCSW
Founder & Counselor
Emily completed her bachelor's degree and master's degree in social work through Taylor University and the University of Illinois with an emphasis in children and family services. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Tennessee and Illinois.
Emily has advanced training in trauma treatment and is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Additional post-graduate training includes animal assisted psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, art in therapy, mindfulness practices, assessment and treatment of depression, diagnosing and treating adults with ADHD, understanding adult children of alcoholics, addicts and dysfunctional families, and the relational treatment of trauma.
With experience working in both community mental health and private practice, Emily sees clients ages two through adults for individual, couple and family sessions. Emily also enjoys leading groups and community presentations and is especially passionate about working with women to overcome anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
Madison Kuykendall, LCSW
Counselor
Madison a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Tennessee. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Memphis and her Master’s in Social Work at Union University.
Madison has extensive experience working with children and families in difficult circumstances. She also has experience providing crisis counseling in schools, and working with patients in assisted living facilities.
Madison is experienced in several trauma-informed treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness techniques. Madison is especially passionate about working with individuals and families to reach their unique goals and find peace within themselves.
Caroline Mrowiec, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Caroline received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University and completed a fellowship at Memorial Hermann to specialize in neurological conditions. Caroline's work experience extends across the continuum of care for both adults and pediatrics in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, and home health care.
Caroline has a special interest in medical missions and spent three years volunteering with a nonprofit organization in Vietnam to start a therapy center for children with special needs and has published a book on her experiences there. Caroline also has a passion for therapeutic photography. She has run programs with children and developed a new program for adults which was awarded runner-up in the 2022 Mobilizing Medical Missions conference.
Caroline loves making her therapy practice as holistic and family-centered as possible and looks forward to supporting each client's individual goals while having fun along the way.
